"IN JULY HIP HOP SHLL RISE ON THE 3RD DAY"

Born and raised in Philly, T.H.E. (The Hip Hop Entity) has descended from the stage to lead the unsigned into the land of "Mic's & Honey's".  "I have not come for Rock, Pop, or R&B,yet for the best lost house of Hip Hop. Behold the day shall come when the B-boy shall inherit the earth and all lyrics shall be holy. For man can't live by beats alone but by every word he says into the microphone."

About Godhead The General aka Pedro A. Diaz

What is your background?

I'm a Latin American who grew up in Bronx, NY . I'm a product of the 1980's, and proud of it, as I witnessed the beginning, the development and globalization of hip hop. I was right there, and had incorporated elements of hip hop into my livelihood from young. From breakdancing  to eventually MCing, I learned that style and originality were of the essence if you wanted to stand out. I come from the "harder grounds". The Bronx in the 80's was no joke. Every day was a stuggle for my family and my environment. I was basically raised by the streets, as my mother did the best she could to take care of 4 boys on her own. Poverty pushed me to a world of criminality as a means for survival. After years of  positive mental reconditioning, prayer  and determination,  and focusing on my music career, I've left that world behind. Although, I stil struggle to be completely reformed.  I think my music reflects that struggle.
