James Strait is a husband, a father, a grandfather, and an American. He is a retired professional pilot, and ex-Special Forces soldier, and a
performance car junkie. (Oh yeah, we can talk cars!) He was a fanatical long distance runner (Until those four pesky discs in his lower back decided to go on permanent holiday), has solid
tennis ground strokes, loves to tend the flower garden, and is pretty fair scrabble player.
His radio mentor (Steve Coradasco, host of "The Big Money Show" on WPHT1210 The Big
Talker; during normal working hours James is the producer for The Big Money Show) says that he is "the working mans voice." James agrees
with that assessment and eagerly embraces the moniker. It fits his background of humble beginnings, being raised in rural Missouri. It agrees with his back ground of being an in the trenches aviator.
And, it is a comfortable headspace to broadcast from. After all, we are ALL working stiffs.

*********************************************** STRAITTALKS
Like you, James has grown bone tired of the pre-masticated rhetoric spewed from the mouths of today's technocrats, bureaucrats, vacuous political operatives, fourth estate opportunists, agenda
based pundits, and Ann Coulter.
James Strait, creator and host of STRAITTALKS understands that while many lean to the
political right (most of whom have never worn a military uniform) and an equal number lean to the political left (a surprising number have worn a military uniform), that everyday LIFE is lived in the
middle ground. Let the extremists spew their self serving venom. James Strait, and STRAITTALKS have the antiserum. Drawing from both sides of the spectrum to whatever
degree required to intelligently balance the equation, James employs clear, level headed (most of the time) analysis that frequently takes common evidence to an uncommon destination.
James offers a talk dialogue that is always unique, sometimes caustic, often irreverent, frequently humorous, and yes, even sentimental commentary on any and all topics.
So....If you're easily riled, thin skinned, on psychotropic medications, incapable of considering an alternative view point, or in league with the forces of evil, then STRAITTALKS may prove
dangerous for your ear. But, if you are intelligent, quick on the uptake, open to exploring a variety of less than straight forward topics, willing to share your passion ...then STRAITTALKS may
indeed be your comfort zone.
