Passing Shots...with Sohaib                                    Saturdays  5:30 - 6:00pm

Talking Live about the Sport of Tennis

Delanco , NJ (May 2, 2008) –Do you believe Rafael Nadal is the all time "King of Clay"? Will Roger Federer break Pete Sampras' grand slam record? Serena or Maria…who really is #1? What can I do to improve my net play? And what should I consider when purchasing a new racquet? Or new strings?

If you bandy about these questions with your friends and hitting partners, than Passing Shots…with Sohaib is the program for you. Premiering May 17, 2008 on WNJC 1360AM Radio - Philadelphia, Passing Shots… is a live 30-minute trip through the realms of professional and recreational tennis. Seeking caller opinions, host Sohaib Awan will engage listeners in one-on-one debates and discussions. In addition, Passing Shots will tap into its reservoir of experts and teaching pros…providing both an overview of the professional tours, as well as instruction for the "weekend warrior". Passing Shots will cover:

The Men's and Women's Game at the Professional Level:

Discussing the year-long journey that makes up the women's and men's tours, as well as the Seniors circuits, Team Tennis, and regional exhibitions, Passing Shots will provide an overview…from a fan's perspective. Akin to sports talk radio, Passing Shots will give voice to a segment of sports fans unheard from for too long.

Tips, Tactics, and Techniques:

Having trouble with your inside-out forehand? Is your backhand volley still suspect after years of hitting the courts? Should I serve or receive if I win the coin toss? What can I do to improve my on-court movement? These are but a few of the issues we'll address…with weekly input from experienced coaches and notables in the game.

Potpourri:

Thinking about the ideal "tennis vacation"? Interested in the comings and goings on the junior scene? How far should parents push their children when it comes to practice? Questions relevant to families looking to make tennis a bigger part of their lives will also be addressed.

Passing Shots…with Sohaib (5:30 P.M. each and every Saturday with live netcast at www.wnjc1360.com) is the voice of the Delaware Valley 's tennis fans.
