Lee Schwartz stumbled into the profession of COACHING sort of accidentally. In reality, he
has been a COACH nearly all of his life – he just didn't know it. Lee innately possesses all the qualities of a COACH and has demonstrated them throughout the various phases in his
life. These characteristics include leadership, organization, administration, motivation, enthusiasm, determination and loyalty.
As a child, he found his peers flocking to him for advice and ideas. He can not explain why other children chose him to talk to, but ideas and advice just came naturally. Maybe they
knew he would listen. Maybe they knew he could make the best out of everything. Maybe the found comfort in his optimism.
As an adult, Lee found himself COACHING in a professional realm as well. As a senior level administrator for much of his career, Lee has successfully managed money, companies and
people. As an experienced team builder, he has planned and executed scores of projects, including transferring 22 billion dollars from one business location to another. Corporate
executives, actors and government officials have all been recipients of Mr. Schwartz's personalized COACHING. Many others have benefit from his talents by way of his teachings,
writings, and radio shows. Lee is the founder of New Horizon Coaching, Inc. a personal
development and training company. Lee Schwartz received his Associate of Applied Sciences Degree from the Community
College of Philadelphia. He has a special fondness of the College because he believes it provided the nurturing foundation he needed to become successful in all aspects of his life.
He continued his education receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1974 and his Master
of Business Administration Degree from Drexel University in 1980. Lee also enjoys participating in community services. He currently volunteers his time as
president of the Community College of Philadelphia Alumni Association; member of the Democratic Executive Committee of Philadelphia; and is producer and host of a weekly radio
talk show heard Saturdays from 2pm-3pm, appropriately titled "Reach for the Stars". Mr. Schwartz has written two publications that support his COACHING methods – "Lessons of
Life: A Survival Manual" and "A Cashless and Checkless Society: Reality or Fantasy?" He has also received awards for his work including the Alumni Award for Outstanding
Achievement and the Aaron Hoffman Award. The COACHING experience that Lee Schwartz is most proud of is that with his family. He and his wife Joan have been happily married for
more than 20 years. Their union has produced two children. |
